LHC orders release of Gullu Butt

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to release Gullu Butt upon the completion of his sentence. The court annulled the anti-terrorism provisions in the case. The counsel for Gullu Butt said that the court’s verdict would made Gullu Butt’s release possible. Gullu Butt was arrested for vandalising cars in the presence of policemen during clashes between supporters of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and police in Model Town, 2014.
