LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court ordered the removal of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director Nauman Ahmed in the contempt of court case on Friday. On the court orders, he was handcuffed and later he was released after the hearing after he sought unconditional apology. Justice Ameer Bhatti remarked that the reply submitted by the director was contempt of court. “Under which authority, the director gave his opinion after the court verdict,” he said. LDA DG Amina Imran, who was present in court, said that she did not agree with the reply submitted by the director as it was not given by the department. She withdrew the reply submitted by the director. The court also ordered to appoint the director in place of Nauman Ahmed.
