LHC orders to close all markets at 10pm due to smog in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) - Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday ordered to close all markets at 10pm due to worsening situation of smog in Lahore.

Hearing the case, Justice Shahid Karim remarked that the smog situation had improved due to implementation of the court orders. He ruled that the schools remaining opened on Friday would be closed.

The court also ordered to close all restaurants at 10pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while at 11am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

However, the markets will remain opened on Sunday.
