LHC orders to register cases against underage and unlicensed drivers

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday ordered to register cases against underage and unlicensed drivers.

Hearing the DHA accident case, the court also sought a reply from the Excise Department for registering a vehicle without a licence.

On the other hand, Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered an indiscriminate crackdown against underage and unlicensed drivers. He has issued directions to the IGP Punjab, CCPOs and RPOs in this regard.

He said that cases would be registered against underage and unlicensed drivers driving vehicles and motorcycles.

He appealed to parents not to allow their underage children to drive vehicles.
