LHC orders to release Haleem Adil Sheikh, declares his arrest illegal

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday declared the arrest of Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, ordering his release.

The court also approved his protective bail till July 18.

The court observed that no letter was presented regarding the arrest of Haleem Adil Sheikh.

Earlier, Haleem Adil Sheikh was produced in Model Town courts.

The Sindh Anti-Corruption Establishment had arrested Haleem Adil Sheikh with the help of the Punjab police.
