LHC orders to remove barricades outside Hamza Shahbaz's residence

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered to remove barricades placed outside Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz’s house. The order was issued by Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi over a plea submitted by Advocate Azhar Siddiq on the behalf of his client Muneer Ahmed. In his petition, the petitioner stated that that Hamza Shahbaz has illegally put barricades around his house which is a violation of Articles 4, 25, 17, 16, 14, 6 of the constitution. It also stated that the construction of cage for hens and generator placed on the governmental land in front of Hamza Shahbaz’s house. The petitioner adopted a stance that the consistent blockage of road is also creating difficulties for the locals in transportation. Meanwhile, the court directed to the CCPO and DCO Lahore to remove the blockades and informed the court. However, the court adjourned the hearing till Monday.
