LHC postpones hearing of pleas against Hamza Shehbaz's oath-taking till tomorrow

LAHORE (92 News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday postponed the hearing of pleas against the oath-taking of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz till Thursday.

During the hearing, the court remarked that they are watching the implementation of the judgment of the Election Commission of Pakistan and the Supreme Court. "If we reach the conclusion that the judgment should be implemented from the past, we will issue the immediate orders," it observed.

Azhar Siddique contended that the matter was not discussed in court afterwards. "The court should pass a historic verdict in this regard," he demanded.

Counsel for the President appealed to nullify the remarks of the single bench regarding the President.
