Plea rejected to suspend decision to make Model Town inquiry report public

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the plea to suspend the decision to make the Model Town report public. A full bench headed by Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh heard the case. The court remarked that they want to hear the case daily and it will not be delayed. It is an important legal point that whether the Judicial Commission report can be made public or not. The court will also look into the matter that which method was adopted to prepare the report. Some serious points have been raised in the appeal. The court has issued notices to all parties. The PAT counsels told the media that the matter is being heard by the full bench. The case has been adjourned until October 2.
