LHC suspends PEMRA notification regarding a ban on airing Imran Khan's speeches
LAHORE (92 News) - Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza of the Lahore High Court suspended the notification issued by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) regarding a ban on airing the speeches of PTI chairman Imran Khan.
The court announced the reserved verdict.
Former prime minister Imran Khan had challenged the ban imposed by the PEMRA on his speeches, praying to court to declare the ban unconstitutional and illegal.
The court referred the matter to the LHC full bench to be heard on March 13.
