LHC suspends Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah's arrest warrants
RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench on Friday suspended the arrest warrants issued for Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
The court stopped the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) from taking any action against Rana Sanaullah. It also issued notice to the ACE investigation team and demanded the record from them on October 17.
On October 8, Special Magistrate Rana Sanaullah had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Interior Minister Rana Sanaullaha.
According to the spokesman for the Anti-Corruption Punjab, the non-bailable arrest warrants for Rana Sanaullah has been issued for not appearing in a corruption inquiry underway against him. The warrants were issued in a case No. 20/19.
