LHC tribunal rejects nomination papers of Ch Pervaiz Elahi, Qaisra Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) - The LHC election tribunal rejected the nomination papers of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi and his wife Qaisra Elahi for NA-59 and PP-23.

However, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif was allowed to contest the elections from NA-242 Karachi.

Moreover, the tribunal accepted the appeals of PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur and Mushtaq Ghani and allowed them to contest the elections. However, Ibad Farooq was declared ineligible to contest the elections.

On the other hand, the Sindh High Court tribunal rejected the appeals of Zulfiqar Mirza and Fehmida Mirza.
