Likely to be PM Imran Khan accepts King Salman's invite for Saudi visit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and likely to be prime minister Imran Khan has accepted an invitation by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to visit the kingdom. In his statement on Monday, the PTI said that the Saudi king congratulated the PTI chief on his victory in the elections and expressed good wishes for the new government during in a telephonic conversation. The statement also said that King Salman said the kingdom attaches great importance to Pakistan. He told Khan that the people of Pakistan had reposed their confidence in him and that Saudi Arabia seeks close ties with his government. "Imran Khan thanked the Saudi king and said that Saudi Arabia is a friend of Pakistan, who has always supported them in difficult times," the statement mentioned. He also said they consider Saudi Arabia's security to be of crucial importance. The PTI chief further mentioned that said that safety of holy sites in the kingdom was part of their faith.
