Load-shedding will lead to more turmoil in poor economic conditions: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Lashing out at the incumbent government, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif said that the load shedding would lead to further turmoil in the poor economic condition. Speaking to the journalists at Parliament Lodges along with former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal, he vowed to continue to expose the PTI government’s corruption. “The production of electricity left by Nawaz Sharif’s government is the same today. People across the country are severely suffering due to the load shedding,” he added. “The current prime minister was burning the bill when we were launching power projects,” the former foreign minister said. “Today electricity is becoming more expensive, tariffs are rising, people have been plunged into darkness,” he maintained. The PML-N leader said that the government, who always opposed CPEC, is now admiring, saying that the CPEC is the future of Pakistan. “Electricity is still abundant in our need,” he added. The PML-N leader also alleged federation of feeding mafias under its supervision. “We are standing with the masses in this difficult time,” he mentioned. On the other hand, Ahsan Iqbal said that the country’s future is being ruined due to inexperienced government and the government has been working without any plan for two years. He also said that PTI leaders have destroyed bureaucracy of Pakistan with ineffective policies. “The country is moving backward due to this incompetent government,” he added.
