Local bodies elections: ECC approves a grant of Rs 210 million for ECP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has a approved a grant of Rs 210 million for the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The decision was made during a meeting of the ECC presided over by Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin on Tuesday. The approved amount will be released for the local bodies elections to be held on September 12.

Moreover, the forum approved a grant of US$1 to reduce financial worries of Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

It also approved a supplementary technical grant of US$300 million for the Health Department for purchasing vaccine and other medical equipment.
