Locusts again attack Dadu, destroy crops & vegetables

DADU (92 News) – Locusts again attacked a huge area in Dadu during the last 24 hours. The locust attack destroyed crops and vegetables in Khudabad, Ameer Pir and Mondar. Framers said that vegetables, including lady’s finger, tomatoes and bitter gourd, were destroyed due to the attack in a huge area. They said that famine could occur if the crops were not sprayed immediately. The farmers demanded the high-ups to conduct the spray to eliminate locusts in the area. Meanwhile, locusts have destroyed crops, fodder and fruits in 18-Hazari and Ahmedpur Sial.
