Lodhran Train Accident: Kh Saad says probe underway

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq has on Friday said that the gate keeper of the railway crossing and train driver have been arrested and the investigation is underway to check if the accident occurred due to negligence or fog. Talking to media, he said that the investigation will be completed within the next seven days, while the initial report will be made in 24 hours. The minister said that a summary of Rs 1.5 million for the heirs of the deceased and Rs 1 million for injured persons has been forwarded to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
