Long power shutdown triggers protest in several cities

LAHORE (92 News) – People staged demonstrations in protest against long power shutdown in several cities on Thursday. In Lahore, people gathered in Gulshan Ravi, Sandah and Press Club and chanted slogans against the government. In Ferozewala, citizens attacked and ransacked the Lesco office. In Toba Tek Singh, people staged a sit-in on a road and raised slogans against long power shutdown. Demonstrations were also staged in Hyderabad and Sukkur.
