Loss of crops feared as several Punjab cities receive rain

LAHORE (92 News) - The loss of crops is being feared after different cities of Punjab received intermittent rain on Wednesday.

The cities, including Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Jhang and others, received the rain with intervals. Burewala received a hailstorm coupled with heavy rain.

In DG Khan, a flood-like situation is being witnessed after the rains.

Talking to 92 News, Sindh Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that two new systems of rains are going to enter in the country. He said that the western system will enter Sindh through Balochistan.

"Under the new system, rains are expected in different cities of Sindh, including Sukkur and Badin. Rain is also expected in Faisalabad, Sialkot and Gujranwala," he added.
