LAHORE (92 News) - As many as twenty more villages were inundated when water 400,000 cusecs passed through River Chenab at Head Qadirabad in Mandi Bahauddin on Tuesday morning. As per details, Low-lying areas were submerged in floodwater due to erosion of land at Qadirabad and Farrukhpur Bhattian. Meanwhile, Punjab Disaster Management Authority has said that there is low level flood at Tarbela, Kalabagh and Chashma in River Indus. "All other Rivers and Nullahs are flowing normal at all points," PDMA DG Jawwad Akram said. "The PDMA is keeping a vigilant eye on the flow of water in rivers and nullahs during the rainy season." On the other hand, a control room has been established in the office of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar to monitor flood situation in the city during the monsoon rains.
