Lyari gang war ringleader Uzair Baloch acquitted another case

KARACHI (92 News) - The anti-terrorism court acquitted Lyari gang war ringleader Uzair Baloch in another case on Thursday.

He has been acquitted in a case pertaining to kidnap for ransom and murder. The court has also acquitted Zubair Baloch, brother of Uzair Baloch.

Uzair Baloch faced the charge of kidnapping Abdul Samad, a trader, and demanding Rs one million for his release. The accused had killed the abductee after receiving Rs 70,000.

The Chakiwara police had registered a case against him in 2009. Uzair Baloch has been acquitted in 18 cases so far.
