Macron will take up Kashmir with Modi on the sidelines of G-7 summit

PARIS (92 News) - France has too stepped into the shoes of United States and United Kingdom for announcing to take up the matter of atrocities being committed by Indian army in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IoK) with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. French president Emmanuel Macron will convey his reservations to PM Modi on the sidelines of upcoming G-7 Summit. Kashmiri and Sikh communities in Paris have announced protests on the arrival of Indian PM in France's capital before G-7 summit.
Iran's reservations
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has also expressed his reservations over recent happenings in IoK, saying Iran expects from Indian government a fair treatment with innocent Kashmiri people despite having good relations. He said the British empire had intentionally created Kashmir dispute in the region to prolong this dispute between the two countries.
Sweden on Kashmir
Swedish foreign minister Margot Wallström demanded investigations into the human rights violations in the occupied Kahsmir. He raised the demand during a telephonic conversation with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Qureshi phoned the Swedish FM and apprised him of scrapping of special status of IoK by Modi government and atrocities committed by Indian forces in the valley. Earlier, he also phoned FMs of Denmark, Norway and Ivory Coast and ought diplomatic support for the people of occupied Kashmir.
