Madrassa has no relation with shoe attacker: Allama Raghib Naeemi

LAHORE (92 News) – Religious scholar and head of Jamia Naeemia Allama Raghib Naeemi on Sunday strongly condemned the shoe attack on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Talking to media in Lahore on Sunday, he said that the attack was an individual act, adding that the madarassa administration had no relation with the attacker. Allama Raghib Naeemi said that former premier Nawaz Sharif wanted to give policy statement on issue of amendment in the Khtam-e-Nabuwwat oath and it was possible that the report prepared the committee led by Raja Zafarul Haq would be made public. He went on to say that they had appealed the government to expose those behind the amendment in the Khtam-e-Nabuwwat oath. The head of Jamia Naeemia demanded the security institutions to probe and punish those involved in the incident.
