Mahathir acknowledges Pakistan's importance in Muslim world

ANKARA (92 News) - Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has acknowledged the importance of Pakistan and its role in the eyes of Islamic world. During his visit to Turkey and meeting with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, he suggested that Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan must work together for the unification of Muslim Ummah. Mahathir, who has already paid a state visit to Pakistan in the past, has been lauding Pakistan's role in backing and supporting Muslim nations in the need of hour.
