Mahmood Achakzai's father was a congressman: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (92News) – Criticizing the speech of Mahmood Achakzai in the PDM meeting, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that father of a Mahmood Achakzai was a congressman.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that Mahmood Achakzai's family has been the opponent of Pakistan for generations. "Punjabis and Lahorites gave their blood to the motherland. The British established their rule in Punjab at the end," he added.

The minister said that Mahmood Achakzai's role is like the tool of foreign powers. "It has not happened first time in the country. The PML-N has stabbed Punjab in the back," he added.

He said that the PDM movement and 'Abu Bachao' campaign had failed yesterday.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Political Communications Shahbaz Gill said that he condemns the traitors like Mahmood Achakzai. "Yesterday was the last day of the rule of the Sharifs. The PTI has no need to do something after the way Maryam Nawaz destroyed the PML-N," he added.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto had suffered the greatest loss in the PDM movement. "The PML-N has won 30 seats from Punjab. After the Lahore meeting, it has lost its mandate morally," he added.
