Maj Gen Nigar Johar promoted, appointed as 1st female Surgeon General of Pak Army

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Major General Nigar Johar HI (M) has been promoted as lieutenant general, said a press release issued by the ISPR on Tuesday. She is the first female officer to be promoted as lieutenant general and appointed as 1st female Surgeon General of Pakistan Army. Lieutenant General Nigar Johar hails from Panjpeer, District Swabi KPK, and is currently serving as Commandant Military Hospital Rawalpindi.
