Major injured in unprovoked Afghan firing embraces martyrdom

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Major Ali Jawad Khan who was injured by unprovoked Afghan firing at Torkham embraced martyrdom on Tuesday. Major Jawad and three security personnel were injured due to the Afghan firing on Monday evening. He was being treated at CMH Peshawar. He is survived by two sons and two daughters. Major Ali Jawad Changezi was son of Brigadier (retd) Khadim Ali Khan. His brothers Maj Qasim and Maj Asad are also in service. His body will be brought to his residence Alamdar Road, Quetta by C-130. He will be buried in his ancestral graveyard. Meanwhile, prayers were offered for the martyred Maj Ali Jawad Changezi in the National Assembly. On the other hand, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family. He said that Major Jawad Changezi sacrificed his life while defending his motherland. He prayed for the martyred officers.
