Major terror bid foiled, four suspected suicide bombers held in Jamrud
PESHAWAR (92 News) – Security Forces have on Friday detained four suspected suicide bombers during a raid conducted in Khyber Agency’s Jamrud Tehsil.
As per details, Khyber Agency’s Political Administration and Khasadar Force jointly carried out an intelligence-based operation and foiled a terror plot on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to Assistant Political Agent Jamrud Ziaur Rehman, four suspected suicide bombers were apprehended during the raid.
The security forces have also recovered weapons, five suicide jackets and detonators.
According to the political administration, the terrorists appeared had crossed the border into Pakistan from neighboring Afghanistan.
The arrested terrorists were shifted to unknown place for further interrogation.
