LAHORE (Cultural Reporter) Renowned producer Ammara Hikmat and acclaimed director Bilal Lashari celebrated the second anniversary of their blockbuster film "The Legend of Maula Jatt."
Marking two successful years since its release on October 13, 2022, both Hikmat and Lashari expressed their gratitude, dedicating this achievement to the film's audience.

In the wake of this milestone, various figures from the entertainment industry and film personalities have extended their congratulations to the entire team behind "The Legend of Maula Jatt."
The film has made history, establishing itself as one of the highest-grossing films not only in Pakistan but globally.
Recently, Bilal Lashari received the award for "Best Filmmaker" at the Bollywood Film Festival in Norway for "The Legend of Maula Jatt."
He has also been nominated for Pakistan's prestigious civil award, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, in recognition of his contributions.
Upon its release, "The Legend of Maula Jatt" quickly became one of the highest-grossing films in South Asia, breaking numerous records, including the highest-grossing Punjabi film within just four weeks of its release. The film has earned over $1.5 million worldwide after its screenings in the UK and Russia.
The cast of "The Legend of Maula Jatt" includes notable stars such as Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mirza Gohar Rashid, Ali Azmat, Saima Baloch, and Faris Shafi, along with veteran actors Shafqat Cheema, Nair Ijaz, Resham, Babar Ali, and Raheela Agha.
