Malala Yousafzai calls on PM Abbasi

NEW YORK (92 News) – Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in New York on Thursday. During the meeting, Malala Yousafzai reinforced promotion of education particularly female education in Pakistan. The prime minister reiterated his commitment to promotion of education in the country and said education is at the forefront agenda of the present government as no investment would yield dividends without investing in the education sector. Abbasi said that the government is now focusing on syllabus to make history, mathematics and sciences as core part of the syllabus to promote the analytical skills of the students. He said massive increase has been made by the present government in the Higher Education budget to cope with challenges of modern era
