ISLAMABAD (92 News) At the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will arrive in Pakistan on a three-day visit today.
Anwar Ibrahim will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials.
He will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during which the two sides will discuss matters of mutual interest to strengthen bilateral ties in diverse fields.
Both leaders will also discuss regional and global developments.
It is worth mentioning here that Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy strong bilateral ties anchored in history, culture, and faith.
Earlier, Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan arrived at the Foreign Office in Islamabad for talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Ishaq Dar received the Malaysian foreign minister, and the two leaders held discussions on promoting bilateral relations.
