Maldives hails Pak's efforts for peace, security in region

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Maldives High Commissioner in Islamabad Ahmed Saleem called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Friday. According to the Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR), the matters pertaining to regional security and bilateral interest came under discussion during the meeting.The Maldivian high commissioner hailed Pakistan's efforts and role for peace and security in the region. A day earlier, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Pakistan HE Barlybay Sadykov called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwaat GHQ. Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.
