Mall Road blast facilitators among 10 terrorists killed in encounter with CTD
LAHORE (92 News) – At least ten terrorists were killed in an alleged encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department in Manawan area of Lahore.
According to CTD sources, the police was carrying hardcore criminals in a van that all of a sudden, a bunch of terrorists carried out an attack on the police.
The police retaliated against it and killed ten attackers.
The slain terrorists belonged to a banned Tehreek-e-Taliban and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.
The terrorists were allegedly involved in the suicide attack at Mall Road Chairing Cross in Lahore.
The facilitators of Mall Road blast Anwar-ul-Haq, Abdullah, Ata-ur-Rehman, Imam Shah and Farhan were killed in the encounter.
Huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.
