Man accuses Sh Rashid of not paying outstanding Rs 2.2m

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A man has accused Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid of not paying his outstanding Rs 2.2 million as he had purchased a car for him 15 years ago.

As per details, Malik Noor Awan intercepted AML chief Sheikh Rashid at the entrance of the Parliament House and demanded the return of Rs2.2 million loan.

He claimed that he had allegedly bought a car for him worth Rs2.2 million, but Sheikh Rashid did not pay him a single penny.

He appealed to the people to help him recover his money, adding that he was an officer-bearer of PML-N Japan chapter.

On the other hand, Sheikh Rashid said that he did not even know the man, adding that Sharif brothers would be responsible if anything happened to him.

He said that the Sharifs are afraid of his alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan. “I would prefer to die but won’t quit speaking truth."

Later, the AML chief filed an application with the Secretariat Police Station for a case against Malik Noor Awan.

In his application, Sheikh Rashid stated that the man namely Malik Noor had tried to attack him in the Parliament House, but he managed to save his life by entering the Parliament.

Rashid stated that he was already threatened on phone.

On the other hand, police have arrested Malik Noor Awan.
