Man arrested for posing himself to be a relative of Caretaker CM

LAHORE (92 News) - The police have arrested a man for posing himself to be a relative of Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi to secure the release of an underage car driver in Gulberg area.

In a statement on Thursday, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that an incident surfaced a few days back where an individual, falsely posing as his relative, sought an unlawful favor from a police officer and resorted to misconduct and abusive language.

"It's a stark reminder of how influence is wielded to sidestep the law . It's time to break free from these insecurities and ensure that justice is impartial. Appreciation for the Lahore police for treating it as a test case, making it clear that the law applies to all equally," he maintained.
