KARACHI (92 News) – A man was gunned down by unidentified attacker in Karachi's Gulistan-on Sunday. According to the reports, the deceased identified as Sulaiman, who was travelling in a car with his family. Two motorcyclists, after chasing them for some time, opened fire at the car as it drove past Kamran Chowrangi in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 12. During the shooting, Brother Sulaiman died on the spot and sister injured during the incident of firing. The deceased and the wounded were shifted to a nearby private hospital. The injured woman was identified as Maria. The police said the attackers fired five to six bullets from a 30-bore pistol on the car, the official said. One of the gunmen was wearing a helmet and the other hid his face with a mask, he added. It was also reported that it was an incident it was an incident of targeted killing as the gunmen did not rob anything from the passengers in the car. Earlier, at least two people were killed and one injured when unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate fire at a vehicle near Karachi’s UP Mor. According to the reports, the police said three people were getting into their vehicle after having a meal at the hotel when assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire at them. Two of them died at the spot and one man of them being taken to hospital for medical attention, a police official said. Upon being informed of the incident, a contingent of the police and Rangers personnel reached the spot and cordoned it off to gather evidence. The SSP central said a 9mm pistol was used in the crime as five empties (spent bullet casings) have been recovered from the crime scene. The investigation is under process. Taking notice of the matter, the Sindh inspector general of police (IGP) sought an inquiry report on the publically murders of two persons.
