Man hurls coffee at Muslim woman in US, calls her ‘terrorist’

NEW YORK (92 News) – A man threw hot coffee at a Muslim woman before hitting her and calling her a “terrorist” in New York on Wednesday. Nathan Gray, 34, allegedly told his 21-year-old victim he “hated Muslims” before threatening to kill her. He walked into a restaurant near Herald Square and accosted the woman — who was wearing a headscarf. He called her a “terrorist,” threatened to kill her and hurled hot coffee on her. She was not seriously injured. Gray was arrested and charged with assault as a hate crime. He was awaiting arraignment last night.
