Man poisons five children, kills self in Layyah

LAYYAH (92 News) – A man committed suicide after poisoned to death his five children, including a son and four daughters in Chowk Azam area in Layyah on Thursday.

As per details, Tariq, 30, resident of Chowk Azam had divorced his wife and five children were living with him.

Tariq poisoned his five children including a son Tayyab, 12, and four daughters Tayyaba, 11, Tanzeela, 9, Shanzay, 8 and Saba, 6. The man also consumed poison.

All of them were rushed to the hospital where the five children were declared brought dead while Tariq was undergoing treatment but later succumbed to injuries.

Initial investigation suggested that Mehmood was upset over domestic issues.
