Man shoots and kills six of a family before killing self in Sargodha

SARGODHA (92 News) - Six people including three women were killed allegedly by a man who also shot himself to death in Mudh Ranjha locality of Sargodha on Tuesday morning police said. Preliminary police inquiries showed that suspect Noor Din, who was armed with a weapon, entered the house of his relatives and sprayed six people with bullets. Noor also took his life after shooting himself with the same weapon. According to SHO Laksian, the suspect targeted his brothers and their families for a motive that is still under investigation. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bozdar took notice of the gruesome incident, sought detailed report from the provincial police chief and ordered high-level investigation. Inspector General of Punjab police Captain (retired) Arif Nawaz Khan ordered the Regional Police Officer Sargodha to arrest remaining culprits as soon as possible. He also directed the health authorities to provide best possible medical facilities to the injured victims.
