Manchester-bound PIA flight cancelled as several passengers faint due to technical fault

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Several passengers fainted after the heating system of a Manchester-bound PIA flight (PK-701) was switched on due to a technical fault on Saturday. The passengers were boarded and disembarked from the flight thrice due to the fault. Later, the flight was cancelled. Now the flight carrying 235 will leave for Manchester on Sunday morning. A spokesman for the PIA said that the passengers had been provided accommodation, food and transport facilities. He said that the PIA regretted inconvenience caused to passengers due to the cancellation of the flight.
