Marayam Nawaz hints at in-house change, removing Senate chairman

LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz has hinted at removing Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and in-house change. Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the budget had increased the problems of the masses. “Those voting in favor of the budget will be a criminal in the court of the people,” she said. Maryam Nawaz said that Khawaja Saad Rafique is being subjected to political victimization. “He made the mistake of contesting the election twice against the incompetent prime minister,” she maintained. She said that they were hopeful of the bail of Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique. “Salman is unwell and an attempt to discharge him from hospital is a condemnable act,” she added. The PML-N leader said that the opposition should a give a tough time to the government jointly. “The government’s frenzy shows that it is not easy for the government to get the bill passed,” she said. She was of the view that PM Imran Khan is still not ready to disembark from the container. “It is the first government which stages protest against the opposition. They cannot run the government no matter how many people they jail,” she added. Maryam Nawaz said that Aleema Baji had confessed to her crime by paying the fine. “The government has failed on each front. No one can stop from terming the government me a vote thief and conspiracy government.” She said that Shehbaz Sharif is also in touch with other parties. “Imran Khan follows the directions given to him. The formation of the National Development Council (NDC) should be discussed in the parliament,” he said.
Maryam, Bilawal agree for strengthening cooperation against govt
On June 16, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz agreed to increase cooperation among opposition parties against the government. During the one-on-one meeting at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s residence in Jati Umra, both the leaders decided to launch a decisive movement inside and outside the parliament.
