Maritime security agency starts operation to rescue fishermen

QUETTA (92 News) – The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) has started an operation to rescue the fishermen stranded in the sea.

According to the PMSA spokesperson, seven fishermen have been rescued. “Two separate operations were conducted near Sarbuland to rescue the fishermen,” it added.

They said that boats got out of order in middle of the sea. “Fishing boat ‘Allah Madad’ was facing difficulties in the sea. We also received a call from near Omara. Recuse operations are continued.” it maintained.

On the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo has directed to ensure availability of relief items in rain, snowfall hit areas.

He directed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to ensure availability of an adequate quantity of food and other relief items in rain and snowfall hit areas.
