Markets closed at 9 pm in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Markets in the federal capital Islamabad will also be closed at 9 pm to save electricity, a notification was also issued.

Power saving working hours have been issued in Islamabad as well as across the country. A notification has also been issued regarding the application of sanctions under section 144 relating to markets and shopping malls.

According to the notification, markets, shops, warehouses and shopping malls in Islamabad will be closed at 9 pm. Wedding Halls, Wedding Celebrations, Lighting will be closed until 10 pm. In addition, commercial and industrial centers, restaurants, clubs, parks, cinemas and theaters will be closed at 11:30 pm.

The notification said that ambulance service, medical centers, petrol pumps and bus stands would be exempted from the ban. The ban will remain in effect for the next two months.
