Marriyum Aurangzeb terms flood situation as national emergency

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb ha termed the flood situation as national emergency.

Talking to the media, she appealed to Pakistanis to generously donate for Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund.

She said that the people will have to display national passion to deal with unusual destruction due to floods in Sindh and Balochistan. "There is dire need of donations from locals and overseas Pakistanis," she said.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the government is trying its best and mobilize all resources to mitigate sufferings of the flood victims. "The rescue and relief process can be expedited with the help of the people. The flood victims are waiting for our help," she added.

She said that donations can be deposited into the 'Prime Minister Relief Fund Account 2022 Account No. ‘G-12164' through all commercial banks, money transfer operators, cross cheques, ATMs and ABFT.
