ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday while criticizing verdict the Supreme Court’s verdict against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif  said that not a single corruption allegation was proved against him. Talking to media outside the Supreme Court on Friday, she said that Wajid Zia, former head of joint investigation team (JIT) formed by the Supreme Court over Panamagate case told the court that no documents were present against the former premier, adding that the trial is still underway in the court against him. The state minister said that today's verdict of the Supreme Court has come at a time when trial against Sharif family was continuing before the accountability court. The minister said that masses would announce verdict of any politician’s disqualification. “Now the masses would use the doctrine of necessity,” she added. Hinting at former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf, Aurangzeb went on to say that the dictator who didn’t accept the court verdict was sitting abroad. The nation is suffering from the verdicts against the elected prime ministers of the country, the minister warned and added the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was still the most famous political party of the country. She said a new era of politics has begun in which the ruling PML-N is focusing on respect for vote. Nawaz Sharif has always respected the judiciary, Marriyum said and added that the determination of the ruling party has strengthened after the judgement.
