Martial Law was imposed whenever Ulema launched a movement: Sh Rasheed
October 19, 2019
LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Martial Law was imposed in the country whenever Ulema launched a movement. Addressing a press conference at Railways Headquarters on Saturday, he said that the cases would be decided promptly if democracy was derailed. “Maulana Fazalur Rahman will not get the power even though all political bigwigs die,” he said. “About 600 people will be in jails if the martial law was imposed in the country. We will have to move cautiously.” He said that problems will emerge by invading Islamabad. “The doors of the dialogues cannot be closed in democracy,” he added. The minister said that the politics of the person giving directions to the JUI-F would also ruin. He claimed Maulana Fazalur Rahman will not come to Islamabad. He said that the JUI-F’s sit-in is on the grey list and face-saving can be granted to Maulana Fazalur Rahman. Sheikh Rasheed said that the PML-N and the PPP will suffer the biggest loss if damage is caused to democracy. “Shehbaz Sharif is a bigger dacoit than Nawaz Sharif,” he said. On October 12, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed had said that there is a well before Maulana Fazalur Rahman and a ditch behind him. He said that Maulana Fazalur Rahman had got them ‘killed’ and now again he is getting them killed. “Shehbaz Sharif is at in-between – sometime on the left and sometimes on the right,” he said. The minister said that all problems can be resolved if he gives the NRO to six persons. “They would lift the ballot boxes if there is no army in the elections,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed announced that the railway deficit would be ended in three years. “The economy fare in Jinnah Express will be reduced to a half. Latecomers will be considered absent,” he said. He said that ML-1 would provide jobs to 100,000 people. “God knows better on whose agenda Maulana Fazalur Rahman is working,” he said. The minister said that PM Imran Khan would soon resolve the problems. “Imran Khan has trapped Modi such a way that he neither can get rid of it nor can swallow it,” he said. He said that the Pakistani people are standing with the prime minister, Pak Army and Kashmiris. “Pakistan does not want a war, but it will be last one if breaks out,” he said.
