Martyred diplomat Nayyar Iqbal Rana laid to rest in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The martyred diplomat Nayyar Iqbal Rana was laid to rest in H-8 Graveyard on Tuesday. Thousands of people, including Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, attended his funeral at Masjid Hanfia in G-7/2 Sector, Islamabad. His relatives complained about lack of security. They said that the deceased had informed the Foreign Ministry in writing about serious security threats to Pakistani diplamts on the Afghan soil. However, the Foreign Office has demanded Afghanistan increase security of diplomats and progress in investigations. Nayyar Iqbal Rana was martyred by unknown assailants in Jalalabad on Monday.
