RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider, who embraced martyrdom in general area of Tirah Valley, Khyber District, was laid to rest with full military honours in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Earlier, funeral prayers for the martyred army officer was offered at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, COAS Asim Munir, CJCSC Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Defence Minister Lt Gen (Retd) Anwar Ali Hyder and a large number of senior civil and military officers, soldiers, citizens and relatives of the martyred officer attended the funeral prayers.

Meanwhile, funeral prayers for Naik Khushdil Khan (age 31 years, resident of District Lakki Marwat), Naik Rafique Khan (age 27 years, resident of District Charsadda) and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (age 33 years, resident of District Murree) were also offered at their respective hometowns.

"Armed Forces of Pakistan stand resolute and committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all cost," said the ISPR.
