ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The ministers, political leaders and other government representatives visited the martyrs’ of Pakistan Army, police and other security agencies personnel’s houses for paying homage for to their services for the country. On the eve of Defence Day, Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan visited the residence of Shaheed Lieutenant Arsalan Alam in Rawalpindi. Speaking on the occasion, she paid glowing tributes to the martyrs for rendering their lives for peace and defense of Pakistan. She said these martyrs and their families are our pride and asset. She said these sacrifices will be written in golden words and the entire nation will always remember them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2Pl7RukSxo Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi visited the residence of Shaheed Captain Junaid Irfan in Rawalpindi and paid tributes to the martyr for rendering his life for the security of the homeland. Speaking on the occasion, He said the entire nation is proud of its martyrs who gave their lives for a better future of the country. He said the vibrant nations always remember their martyrs. He said these are our personnel who registered unprecedented successes in the war on terrorism which others could not do despite in possession of modern technology. Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif visited the Shaheed Lance Naik Muhammad Taimoor Aslam and paid glowing tribute to martyr. Speaking on the occasion, he said that today the Pakistan armed forces had given befitted response to the enemy on this day. He also said that Defence Day will be written in the history of Pakistan with golden words. Sindh Minister for Information Saeed Ghani visited on the residence of Shaheed DSP Qasim Ghauri and offered prayers for him. On the other hand, different personalities paid tribute to the martyrs during the visit on their mausoleum. The nation is also observing the Defence & Martyrs Day across the country with national fervour.
