Maryam meets Shehbaz, Hamza, says general elections to be held next year

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Monday met with her uncle Shehbaz Sharif and cousin Hamza Shehbaz Sharif in courtroom during their appearance in accountability court.

During the hearing, the sealed report of the approver against Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz has been presented in the court. The court summoned SP security prison for the purpose of trial.

Justice Fazal directed the concerned authorities that the permission for entering people in the court to some extent. "The case will not be heard in such a way," the judge remarked.

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawazreached an accountability court to meet her uncle Shehbaz Sharif and cousin Hamza Shehbaz Sharif. During the meeting country’s political situation came under discussion. Maryam also inquired about the health of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza.

While informal talking with journalists outside the accountability court, Maryam Nawaz has claimed that general elections will be held next year and also expressed her hope that PML-N will win elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The PML-N leader later met party president Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz.

Rejecting rumours of differences between the family, Maryam said that the Sharif family is united and will remain. "People have been talking about differences in the family for the last 30 years, but the family stands firmly united," she added.

Upon the arrival of Maryam at the accountability court Lahore, police and the party workers exchanged words when the PML-N workers were barred from entering the court along with Maryam.
