Maryam Nawaz admits stopping advertisements of 92 News
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has admitted that she had ordered to stop the advertisements of 92 News.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, she admitted that audio tape regarding not giving advertisements to four TV channels, including 92 News, belonged to her.
Reacting to the statement in a tweet, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that Maryam Nawaz had admitted to controlling the advertisements of big channels.

"It is another confession of serious financial irregularities. She says that she was running the PML-N Media Cell. We hope that now she will also admit to her and her family's properties abroad," she maintained.
In a tweet, State Minister for Information Furrukh Habib said that Maryam Safdar had admitted that the audio regarding closure of advertisements to control the Pakistani media belonged to her.

"In which capacity Maryam Safdar was using the advertisements given from the taxes of the people for personal interest and protect their theft. Her hypocrisy over the independence of the media has been exposed," he added.
